Well this weekend was a learning experience for us. When you live in Iowa and when you get -40˚ (with wind-chill) you should insulate ALL pipes. Due to freezing upstairs bathroom pipes, We had to take down a wall in the kitchen and insulate those pipes. We tried not to grumble too much while we did it. Time will tell if that will be doing the trick or not. I went out and bought the more expensive rubber foam to wrap the pipes in. I will be darned if we are going to take that wall down a third time. On the positive side of that I am getting pretty darn good at mudding drywall. I must say my corners are getting pretty good. I can not show you because I broke our camera so you will have to take my word for it.
I also have been cleaning and organizing the basement in preparing a little office for my new business adventure I am taking on, craftynan.com. It isn't quite ready yet but I will attempt to sell some of my projects I make. We thought why not try to do something I love to do. Be crafty. Where did crafty nan came from? Well a lot of my friends always would say, that is so crafty or you are so crafty.
Once we get our camera in working order I will start posting pictures again. Greetings from frigid Iowa, where the temp. is currently 3˚. Try not to be so jealous.

Now if it was 60 or 70, I for sure would be jealous of the umbrella drinks I know you are sipping on while you munch on bon bons and watch soaps :)
As for crafty, you think they mean crafty as in creative but that cunning pea- sized scheming brain of yours may give you a clue it might be otherwise :-0 I finally got you on one! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
Brrrr!!! thats cold. That would freeze most peoples pipes and noses
